Bellum is a start-up with a big vision to build software for multi-unit operators to drive operational efficiency. Its mission is to empower its clients with actionable insights. Their goal is to build technology that will enable and improve both guest and staff experiences in the restaurant and family entertainment sectors.
This technology will be a leader in changing the landscape of employee self-service and dramatically improve the hourly employee experience.
The Head of People at Bellum will be building out the internal recruiting and engineering teams. Bellum is backed by a publicly traded company, and they needed to scale quickly, requiring them to hire an in-house recruiter to drastically increase their team size. As the Head of People, their challenge was to design and implement a talent pipeline that would attract the most ambitious, creative, and forward-thinking minds in the industry. This required Nxt Level to find a candidate that would be capable of handling 401(k) plans, onboarding documentation, evaluating legal costs for immigration, and complying with different states as they hire new people.
The minimum requirements:
4+ years of technical recruiting experience
Experience working with a start-up
Experience handling HR tasks including handling 401(k) plans, onboarding documentation, etc
