The Challenge
The Engineering Manager at BetterUp will own the company’s FedRAMP Authority to Operate (ATO) process. This is a Government program that describes an approach to security assessments, authorization, and continuous monitoring for the US Government's use of commercial and government-operated cloud products and services. On top of needing someone to own the ATO process, BetterUp required someone who could lead with a hands-off approach. The best candidate needed to be able to unlock the potential of their team members, as well as have experience collaborating with product managers, giving code reviews, and scaling teams.
Working with BetterUp requires aligning with its mission and long-term goals. Each candidate needed to be invested in enabling self-driven behavior changes for clients of all backgrounds.
The Minimum Requirements
5+ years of relevant experience in a start-up environment.
Recent and relevant experience with the FedRAMP ATO process
